Sexual and Reproductive Health Clinics

Our clinics provide free, confidential and non-judgmental services to support your sexual and reproductive health. Everyone is welcome and no health card is required. Whether you need testing, treatment, contraception or information, our team is here to help.

Services we offer

We provide a wide range of services, including:

  • Reproductive health counselling – information about birth control, safer sex and healthy relationships.
  • Affordable contraception – talk to our staff about options that fit your needs.
  • IUD insertion, removal or replacement
  • Free condoms – available to anyone who needs them.
  • Pregnancy testing and counselling – confidential support to help you understand your options.
  • Emergency contraception (i.e., morning-after pill) – works best when taken as soon as possible after unprotected sex.
  • STI testing and treatment – confidential testing and free treatment for sexually
    transmitted infections such as chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis and more.
  • Confidential or anonymous HIV testing – includes rapid point-of-care (POC) HIV
    testing. (Please note: POC testing is available only at our Guelph location.
  • Vaccines – including Hepatitis A and B (for those who qualify), HPV and Mpox (if
    eligible).

Who can book an appointment

  • Open to everyone including youth, adults, all genders and sexual orientations.
  • No health card required, but please bring it if you have one.
  • All services are free and confidential.

Your privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Test results and personal information are kept strictly
confidential.

  • Confidential testing means your information is recorded in your health file but not
    shared without your consent.
  • Anonymous HIV testing means no name or identifying information is collected.

What to expect at your appointment

When you visit one of our clinics, here’s what you can expect:

  • Appointments usually take 20–60 minutes.
  • An OHIP card is not required to receive care, but please bring it if you have one.
  • Do not urinate (pee) for one hour before your visit.
  • Eat and drink before any blood tests.

You will be seen by a health care practitioner such as a nurse or doctor. They will ask
you a few questions to better understand your needs, including:

  • The reason for your visit
  • Your medical and sexual health history

The information you share will help determine what services may be most beneficial to
you. Everything you share is confidential.

During your appointment, the health care practitioner may also provide information
about:

  • Sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
  • Safer sex practices
  • Birth control options

This is also your opportunity to ask any questions you have about sex, relationships or
your sexual health.
